Job description

Description:

The Employment Development Services Instructor will collaborate with Providence to support people in Providence’s Employment Development Services (EDS) program in achieving competitive, integrated employment through instruction, community-based learning, and skill development.


The instructor will facilitate and update prepared content around employment, as well as offer 1:1 coaching sessions with people participating in the program.


This is a grant-funded contractual role. The instructor will provide services during the designated hours as determined in the grant:

Tues &Thurs 8a-3:30p | Wed 8:00a-1:00p for a 4-8 week cycle in September, and in January.

Requirements:

- Deliver employment development services using agreed-upon instructional objectives and outcomes, aligned with EDS curriculum.

- Teach job readiness skills including resume building, interviewing, communication, and professionalism.

- May transport students to and from class and community activities

- Complete required documentation (progress notes, reports, incident documentation)

- Perform services consistent with applicable DDA, DORS, and Providence contractual requirements

- Maintain required professional credentials and complete mutually agreed-upon trainings necessary to provide contracted services
