Contractual Tanker Loader Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Duties and Responsibilities: Assembles, installs and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes, studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required, and sequence of installations. Inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe and locates and marks position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors. Joins pipe by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints, fills pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.

Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains, and may weld holding fixtures to steel structural members. Respond to Emergency's when called during working hours and off duty hours and weekends. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications and Skills: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience Must have or be willing to obtain confined space entry and fall protection certifications. Must be able to lift 50lbs load. Must be able to accommodate shift-work, adjusted work schedule, and be able to work weekends and holidays and on-call when needed.

Must be able to plan/maintain and meet a busy schedule without delays. Support to Potable Water, in addition to above: Experience in water distribution system maintenance and repair, and industrial pipe fitting. Must be willing to obtain confined space entry and fall protection certifications.

Must be able to lift 50lbs load. Must be willing to obtain Class AB Guam Driver's License' knowledge of water operation and maintenance programs; GEPA certifications, and knowledge of pump truck operation are desired. Support to Wastewater, in addition to above: Must be willing obtain a Guam EPA Water Distribution and/or Wastewater Collection certification, and certification as a backflow prevention tester.

Must be willing to obtain a Class AB Guam Driver's License. Must be able to obtain Confined Space Entry and Fall Protection certifications. Knowledge of pump truck operation, and the ability to use computers including Microsoft Office programs are desired.
