This role maintains direct client interface, leads the site-based JLL project team, and oversees the execution of a diverse project portfolio-including capital, facilities, infrastructure, compliance, safety, and operational initiatives. The position ensures alignment with the client's business plan, key performance indicators, safety expectations, quality requirements, and governance processes. As the main liaison between JLL and the client's site leadership team, you will provide strategic oversight, drive accountability, consolidate portfolio-level reporting, and ensure continuity of site leadership. This is a critical role that shapes project delivery success and strengthens client relationships in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Serve as the primary JLL site lead and main point of contact for all project delivery activities at the Gurabo site, interfacing directly with client leadership on portfolio status, business plan updates, KPI reporting, risks, issues, and escalations.

  • Lead and coordinate the JLL project delivery team, including Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Safety DRI, C&Q, and functional support resources, providing coaching, guidance, and accountability to ensure consistent execution.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of projects across capital, facilities, infrastructure, compliance, safety, manufacturing support, and operational categories, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, safety, quality, and governance requirements.

  • Consolidate project updates from the site team and prepare portfolio-level reports, dashboards, KPI updates, leadership presentations, risk and issue logs, and escalation summaries for both client and JLL leadership.

  • Facilitate governance meetings, portfolio reviews, client update meetings, team coordination sessions, and escalation discussions, while tracking action items, decisions, resource needs, and critical path activities.

  • Monitor project performance against established KPIs, proactively identify risks, resolve issues through appropriate channels, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to project delivery, cost control, scheduling, communication, and client service.

  • Maintain strong client relationships through transparency, responsiveness, and proactive communication, ensuring timely project closeout with complete documentation, financial reconciliation, and client acceptance.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in project management, construction management, facilities project delivery, capital projects, or similar project execution roles.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience leading project teams, coordinating multiple projects, or managing cross-functional resources in a site environment.

  • Experience managing capital, facilities, infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing support, compliance, safety, remediation, or operational projects.

  • Strong understanding of project management processes, including scope development, schedule management, cost tracking, procurement support, risk management, change control, reporting, and closeout.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.

  • Proven leadership, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, lead teams, escalate issues, and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, GMP, FDA-regulated, life sciences, or manufacturing environments.

  • Experience supporting site-based project delivery services for a large corporate, regulated manufacturing, or life sciences client.

  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, vendors, consultants, engineering, facilities, operations, procurement, finance, EHS, quality, and C&Q resources.

  • Experience preparing and presenting project status reports, business plan updates, KPI dashboards, portfolio reviews, and leadership presentations.
