Job description

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Bid Manager to execute corporate marketing and proposal writing to support promotion, expansion, and growth of CBE's services. The Sr. Bid Manager will leverage their own knowledge of audience and client needs, along with engaging other SMEs, to communicate in marketing materials and proposals on a wide range of markets, products and services, practices, and business procedures.The ideal candidate must have sound judgment on managing complicated projects against firm deadlines, deliver work product to the media, prospective clients, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Strategy & Management:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.

  • Develop winning bid strategies, aligning with company objectives and client requirements.

  • Analyze RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, identifying risks, opportunities, and competitive differentiators.

  • Oversee bid qualification (bid/no-bid) processes, engaging key stakeholders.

Content & Proposal Development:

  • Write, edit, and coordinate compelling proposals that highlight our expertise, innovation, and value proposition.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), sales, operations, finance, legal, and other teams to develop customized solutions.

  • Maintain and refine a library of pre-written content, case studies, and best practices.

Stakeholder & Team Coordination:

  • Lead bid kick-off meetings, defining roles, timelines, and responsibilities.

  • Engage and manage input from multiple internal departments to create comprehensive proposals.

  • Present bid progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Risk & Compliance Management:

  • Ensure proposals comply with company policies, client requirements, and industry regulations.

  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to assess contractual risks and pricing strategies.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze past bids, win/loss trends, and market insights to improve future proposals.

  • Implement bid best practices, automation tools, and process efficiencies.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and BPO market demands.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in bid/proposal management, sales operations, or a related role in the BPO industry.

  • Proven track record of winning large, complex bids in the outsourcing sector.

  • Strong understanding of BPO services, pricing models, and contract structures.

  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess bid viability and competitive positioning.

  • Proficiency in bid management tools, CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) or Shipley certification is a plus.

  • Proficiency in proposal management platforms (Loopio, RFPIO, Responsive, Qvidian)

This position is eligible for remote work within the United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
