Job Summary:
Ascension Federal Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Red Hat Linux Administrator to join their team in Arlington, VA. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining Red Hat Linux systems while ensuring the stability and security of the Linux infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Install and configure Red Hat Linux systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Implement security measures to protect the Linux infrastructure
• Collaborate with IT team to design and implement new solutions
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3-5 Years of proven experience as a Red Hat Linux Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux operating system
• Experience with automated configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
• Familiar in programming/scripting skills for automation (Bash, Ruby, Python, etc.)
• Experience with PowerShell scripting engine to automate tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
