Job description

Draper and Kramer is currently seeking a Commercial Real Estate Analyst to join our Commercial Finance Group. This position is located in Chicago, Illinois and is required to work onsite five days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and audit marketing materials for debt and equity requests (these include written presentations and financial analysis, along with important aesthetic elements such as photos, maps, aerials, etc.)
  • Review, summarize and analyze market data, financial cash flow information and legal documents (i.e. leases, contracts, license agreements, loan agreements, etc.)
  • Build, audit and adjust cash flow models using Excel and ARGUS
  • Manage deal flow and workload to meet stringent and sometimes short deadlines
  • Complete other ancillary and administrative tasks necessary for department operation as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.6/4.0 overall GPA for recent graduate, transcript required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Banking, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Political Science or Mathematics
  • Recent graduate or 1-2 years of experience
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook; ARGUS software experience preferred
  • Strong written communication skills with ability to prepare high quality presentations
  • Attention to detail and audit skills, with strong proclivity for abstract thought

Compensation

  • Annual Salary Range for this position: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
  • Portfolio volume and performance based bonus
