We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer to help build and scale enterprise-grade applications that power critical business operations. You will work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineers across the organization to deliver high-quality software solutions from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Django
  • Build and maintain financial reconciliation data platform with AWS cloud services
  • Build reliable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications that support business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver products end-to-end
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, deployment, and operational support
  • Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality
  • Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3-5 years of professional experience developing backend applications using Python and Django
  • Experience building scalable, production-grade enterprise applications
  • Strong experience with AWS services, including:
    • SNS
    • SQS
    • API Gateway
    • Step Functions
    • S3
  • Experience working with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code and other modern AI engineering assistants
  • Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and deliver products from ideation through production deployment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Passion for software craftsmanship, maintainable system design, testing, observability, and continuous improvement

Nice to Have
  • Experience with AWS Glue, S3, and cloud-based data pipelines for processing, transforming, and integrating large-scale business data
  • Experience working in retail and e-commerce organizations and applying AI solutions to areas such as inventory, fulfillment, customer experience, and financial operations
