POSITION SUMMARY

As the Contract Manager at AES, you will lead the strategic management of multiple contracts, extending across multiple locations in the United States. This crucial position entails direct oversight of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance for multiple customers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring meticulous contract compliance, incorporating elements of risk assessment, negotiation, legal adherence, and ongoing enhancements in contract administration. Your role is integral to maintaining the highest standards of contractual relationships and operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee multiple contracts across the US, ensuring strict adherence to delivery and service standards in GSE maintenance while managing contract performance and SLA results.

· Conduct comprehensive risk assessments during station visits, identifying areas for enhancement.

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate, refine, and ensure continuous alignment of contracts.

· Evaluate and manage any changes, amendments, and extensions to designated contracts.

· Act as the single point of operational contact with corporate team, contract managers, and customers.

· Monitor and ensure rigorous compliance with contracts, including timely maintenance response and optimal utilization of CMMS software to track and report contract performance.

· Verify that repairs align precisely with contractual standards and expectations.

· Manage and maintain full work order progression through CMMS, ensuring accurate and timely status updates from creation through completion.

· Attend monthly/quarterly customer account meetings, providing comprehensive operational updates and performance results.

· Ensure locations follow expected PMI and corrective support processes.

· Implement action plans and report support needs, performance issues, progress, and concerns to leadership teams.

· Conduct financial assessments of existing contracts, identifying opportunities for optimization.

· Establish and maintain effective communication channels with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales.

· Function as a liaison with other regions and operations, providing updates, feedback, and results.

· Ensure seamless alignment of designated contracts with business requirements and objectives.

· Implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency in managing designated contracts.

· Understand the contract terms and ensure all requirements are met with all other regional leaders and teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field, or equivalent; 4 - 6 years related work experience managing maintenance operations; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job

· Proven experience in negotiating and managing complex contracts, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment

· Strong understanding of aviation and ground support equipment, and/or automotive fleet repair

· Proficient CMMS systems (EBIS, AssetWorks, EAM or other Infor products)

· Familiarity with aviation industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Computer and office programs knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

· Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities

· High attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy in performing job-related tasks

· Exceptional integrity and ethics to maintain confidential information

· Poised and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.

· Ability to work both as a team and/or independently

· Must be able to read and speak the English language

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· No travel restrictions, position requires 50% travel

· Legally authorized to work in the United States
