Job description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused team member to join our production team as an Overhead Crane Operator (2nd Shift). This role is responsible for safely moving materials, supporting production flow, and preparing shipments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, organization, and efficiency.

Schedule:

  • Summer Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 1:45 PM – 11:45 PM
  • Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:45 PM – 9:45 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate an overhead crane using a handheld remote
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and securely
  • Stage orders for upcoming shipments
  • Supply production machines with coils to maintain workflow
  • Inspect materials during handling to identify and report any defects
  • Follow all safety protocols and stop work if unsafe conditions arise
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines
  • Assist with training new employees as needed


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Overhead crane experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Dependable with a strong attendance record
