Want to be part of something powerful? It's time to look at Taylor.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor to lead second-shift outbound operations at our Jeffersonville, IN facility. This person will lead the team, manage daily staffing and workflow, and ensure orders are shipped safely, accurately, and on time.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Additional hours may be required based on business needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Jeffersonville distribution center, with primary responsibility for second-shift outbound operations.
  • Lead employees through hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, performance management, attendance management, employee relations, and accountability.
  • Plan staffing, schedules, and overtime based on order volume, productivity goals, and daily labor needs.
  • Manage labor and operating costs within an established budget.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Make sure products are picked, packed, moved, and shipped accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and manage performance using established KPIs, including ship-on-time performance and shipping quality.
  • Support additional operational KPIs, including shipping accuracy, inbound receiving, outbound shipping, returns, inventory integrity, and customer satisfaction, as applicable to the shift.
  • Support inventory control and loss-prevention activities.
  • Ensure employees follow warehouse policies, contractual requirements, and FDA procedures.
  • Verify required cleaning records and compliance documentation are completed accurately.
  • Review operational reports and use the information to manage staffing, productivity, quality, and workflow.
  • Support internal Customer Service with shipment questions, errors, and other operational issues.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and onsite customers.
  • Occasionally support another shift or Taylor location when business or product needs change. Travel is expected to be very limited, likely less than 1%.

You Must Have:

  • Three+ years of progressive leadership experience.
  • A work history showing increased responsibility. Candidates who progressed from an hourly position to Team Lead and then assumed supervisory responsibilities may be considered.
  • Experience leading employees, coaching performance, managing attendance, addressing employee concerns, and holding team members accountable.
  • Warehouse or distribution experience within a pick, pack, and ship operation.
  • Experience managing staffing, schedules, overtime, productivity, and daily labor needs.
  • Ability to read an established budget, manage labor costs, and adjust staffing based on volume and workload.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and make decisions with limited onsite support.
  • Experience using a warehouse management system. Experience with Oracle, AS400, or another WMS may transfer.
  • Experience using barcode scanners and other warehouse technology.
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel, including the ability to review reports and use data to manage the operation.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and process improvement.
  • Clear communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Leadership experience within a large warehouse or distribution operation.
  • Experience with Excel pivot tables and formulas.
  • Experience with shipping carriers or manifesting systems, including UPS, FedEx, or similar systems. Experience with every carrier is not required.
  • Knowledge of material-handling equipment, including sit-down lift trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers. Experience working in an FDA-regulated or other regulated environment. Direct FDA experience is preferred but not required, and training on Jeffersonville's procedures will be provided.
