Job description

SchureMed is seeking an energetic CNC Lathe Machine Operator to join our growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity within medical device manufacturing, offering real career advancement based on performance. What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce high-precision components to print specifications.
  • Determine machining sequence, select tooling, prepare program layout, and execute programs for consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Work from blueprints, shop orders, and verbal instructions to machine components to exacting tolerances.
  • Set up jobs with existing tooling/fixtures, and when needed, design or fabricate specialized fixtures or holding devices.
  • Select proper tooling, load/verify programs, adjust offsets, and perform in-process corrections to maintain accuracy.
  • Inspect all machined components using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company quality and safety procedures.
  • Support daily production and perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
