Job description

Company Description

GlassCraft Door Company is an award-winning manufacturer of premium wood, composite, and steel entry doors for the residential market. Founded in 1977 on principles of quality, craftsmanship, and service, the company has grown into a leading entry door manufacturer in the United States. GlassCraft is recognized for its innovative products and distinctive features that set its doors apart in the industry. The company has received multiple awards, including Crystal Achievement Awards for innovation and several sustainability honors. Team members join an organization that values excellence, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

GlassCraft Door Company is seeking a Junior Developer to join our Corporate Systems & Technology team. You will work on the applications and integrations that connect our digital sales experience with the systems used to manage customer relationships and business operations.

Your first-year focus will be our e-commerce product configuration and quoting (CPQ) environment, its integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, and workflow automation through Microsoft Power Automate. You will also help us prepare for future EDI connections. This is an opportunity to learn a real business from the inside, solve practical problems, and grow from guided assignments into meaningful system ownership.

What You'll Do

·  Maintain and improve e-commerce and CPQ features, product rules, configuration logic, and supporting workflows.

·  Build and support integrations with Dynamics 365 Sales using APIs, data mappings, and automated processes.

·  Create and monitor Power Automate flows that reduce manual work and improve process reliability.

·  Use SQL and application logs to troubleshoot data, application, and integration issues.

·  Write, test, review, and document scripts and application changes using sound source-control practices.

·  Work directly with Sales, Customer Service, Product Development, Operations, and CST colleagues to understand needs and deliver practical solutions.

·  Help establish integration and data standards that support future EDI capabilities.

What You'll Bring

·  Hands-on development experience from a job, internship, coursework, certification, personal portfolio, or other practical projects.

·  Working knowledge of SQL and at least one programming or scripting language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Python.

·  A basic understanding of APIs, JSON, relational data, and application troubleshooting.

·  Strong problem-solving habits, attention to detail, and clear communication.

·  The judgment to protect production systems and data while learning quickly and asking for help when needed.

·  Availability to work on-site in the Houston area.

Helpful, but Not Required

·  Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, Power Automate, or another Microsoft Power Platform product.

·  E-commerce, CPQ, product configurators, quoting tools, or complex product and pricing rules.

·  REST APIs, webhooks, Microsoft SQL Server, Git, automated testing, or CI/CD.

·  EDI, manufacturing, distribution, or enterprise business applications.

·  Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or another manufacturing/distribution ERP platform.

·  Agile development practices and iterative task planning.

·  Coordinating projects or technical work with outside contract developers and consultants.

·  Secure application or infrastructure environments, access controls, least-privilege practices, or protection of sensitive data.

·  Cybersecurity coursework, certifications, projects, or professional experience.

Why GlassCraft

  • You will join a small, hands-on technology function where your work is visible and connected to real outcomes. You will have direct access to the people who use the systems you support, guidance from the Director of Corporate Systems & Technology, and room to expand your responsibility as your knowledge grows. We value practical ability and demonstrated learning—not only a particular degree or career path.
