Job description

Rohadfox Construction Control Services is seeking a Project Scheduler with expertise in construction project management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or construction management and will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling of our large-scale design-procurement-construction projects. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of projects by preparing detailed schedules, monitoring project progress, and providing analytical support to project teams. Previous experience in a transportation or airport construction project environment is a plus. Pay will be commensurate with years of experience. This is expected to be primarily an on-site position.
Education:
University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Certification / Training:
Safety training (minimum OSHA 10-Hour) is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably on large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, identifying the critical path and ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual milestones.
  • Analyze contractor schedules to verify compliance with contractual terms and project constraints.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress, focusing on critical activities and potential risks, and present these findings to senior management regularly.
  • Collect and integrate schedule data from various sources, maintaining comprehensive management, project, and control level schedules.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts or issues and collaborate with the management team to develop effective resolutions or adjustments.
  • Conduct field verifications of schedule information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the project team in constructability reviews and the development of schedule-related solutions.
  • Perform forensic schedule analysis and assist in evaluating the time impact of potential change orders.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project scheduling software such as Primavera P6.
  • Familiarity with PMWeb or other Project Controls Software is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently without close supervision.
Working Conditions:
  • Office environment with occasional site visits required.
  • Participation in project meetings and collaborative sessions with project stakeholders.

Reporting Structure:
This position reports administratively to the Lead Scheduler and will work collaboratively with Area Construction Managers, Resident Engineers, and other project team members.
