Job description

You will be the Quality Engineer for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for embedding rigorous quality standards into the manufacturing process, developing work instructions, and ensuring that every product meets Lockheed Martin's highperformance expectations.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for providing handson quality engineering support to the JASSM/LRASM program, developing and maintaining inspection methods, and driving continuous improvement across the Troy facility.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Developing, modifying, and maintaining work instructions, evaluation, and control systems for processing materials into finished products.

  • Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; performing statistical analysis on nonconforming parts.

  • Conducting audits, hardware quality audits (HQAs), and foreign object elimination (FOE) walkdowns to identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions.

  • Collaborating with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure compliance and reliability.

  • Investigating nonconformance issues through rootcause analysis and driving preventive measures.
