This position is within the Product Data Management team and plays an important cross functional leadership role in governing product data, PLM processes, and change management across the full product lifecycle. As a PDM Manager, one of your major focuses is the creation and execution of change orders which requires cross functional communication across multiple time-zones. You must be motivated to work in a data driven environment and act as a key NPI product team member to release programs to mass production, and subsequent sustaining programs. While you excel at the everyday execution of changes, you are also highly invested in driving new process optimizations and streamlining processes in order to enhance efficiency and quality in the NPI process. This role is 1-year fixed term. Candidates based in United States or British Columbia, Canada are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Support SKU/Part Number/GTIN creation through Agile PLM and extended Arlo systems.
  • Draft, Create, Route, and execute engineering changes, manufacturing changes, tooling changes, documentation changes, and deviations that support NPI and sustaining production.
  • Review all change orders for completeness and conformance with ARLO process requirements.
  • Trace implementation of change at factory and suppliers through reporting of Agile PLM metrics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Packaging, Compliance, other supporting functions, include external partners to accurately structure new products and document product changes as part of the product development, continue improvement and sustaining engineering process.
  • Establish and maintain PDM processes to meet business needs.
  • Work with cross functional groups for process optimizations and streamlining processes.
  • Execute training for new teammates and suppliers in PLM/PDM processes.
  • Participate in core team meetings and provide BOM, change control proposal to project team.
  • Act as escalation point for complex product data and change management issues, guiding the team toward timely and compliant resolution.
Experience Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of configuration management concepts such as product hierarchy, rules of interchangeability, part number systems
  • 5+ years of experience in driving and managing Change management process for projects independently.
  • Using Agile PLM or equivalent ERP
  • 3+ years of experience in managing end to end NPI program, with solid Project management skill and thorough operational understanding of Supply Chain or Manufacturing process
  • Success stories of implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Strong data analysis capability, MS Excel or Tableau expertise
  • Experience of managing team members is preferred

The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at the commencement of employment. For candidates hired in the United States, the expected range is USD $110,000–$130,000 annually. For candidates hired in Canada, the expected range is CAD $100,000–$120,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits.
