Senior Director, Partnership Management job at Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. Las Vegas, NV.

The FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX has rapidly become a world‑class event in its first two years. This three‑day spectacle attracts a global audience to witness the world's greatest drivers and cars navigate the iconic Las Vegas Strip at breathtaking speeds approaching 200 mph.

Position Overview

The Senior Director of Partnership Management is responsible for the strategic oversight, successful execution, and long‑term retention of all commercial partnerships for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. This individual will lead a high‑performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional value to our partners, ensuring contractual obligations are met and exceeded, and fostering deep, mutually beneficial relationships that drive sustained revenue growth and brand equity. This position will report to the VP, Commercial.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for partner retention, growth, and renewal, ensuring alignment with overall commercial objectives and maximizing lifetime value of partnerships.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Partnership Managers, fostering a culture of excellence, and accountability, while delivering for our partners.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with senior‑level contacts at partner organizations, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of escalation for complex issues.
  • Oversee the meticulous fulfilment of all contractual obligations and deliverables, ensuring partners receive the agreed‑upon rights and benefits with exceptional service.
  • Directly accountable for maximizing partner renewal rates and identifying organic growth opportunities within existing partnerships to contribute significantly to the organization's revenue objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (i.e. Marketing, Ticketing, Operations, etc) to ensure the seamless planning, creative development, and flawless execution of partner activations across all platforms.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges or disputes within partnerships and develop effective strategies for resolution, safeguarding relationships and delivering positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Formula 1 global partnerships team to develop activations for global partners.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related experience in partnership management or activation.
  • Experienced in leading a team and delivering against objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, sports management or related field from a four‑year college or university.
  • Self‑starter that effectively manages their time and excels in a high‑energy, fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and external purposes.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and passport and be able to travel as required.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours.
