EBZ - Logistics Coordinator- North Slope

North Slope Logistics Coordinator

 Position Profile

This position is responsible for coordinating shipments between, Conoco Philips and Alyeska Pipeline services to and from the North Slope to ensure contractual compliance with shipping, receiving, billing and deadline requirements. 

Essential Duties

• Field incoming calls and emails, responding appropriately and timely to customer 

 Inquiries.

• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

 Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required

• An associate degree in business administration or a related discipline is preferred

• Three to four years of previous industry-related experience is required; must have knowledge of Software management system; TruckMate preferred

.  Requires the ability to pass a background check to obtain a SIDA badge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be proficient in MS Office suite of applications including Word, Outlook and Excel

• Proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure while meeting deadlines

• Demonstrated attention to detail and work in a timely, accurate and efficient manner

• Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and be a problem solver and goal 

 oriented, and also work in a team environment.

• Must be able to prioritize daily task and assignments

• Must be able to adapt to change in a positive and constructive manner

• Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Must be able to work well with internal departments, vendors, and customers

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and practical

 situations

• An enthusiastic and positive work attitude with strong interpersonal skills

• Must have excellent customer service skills

• Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and appearance

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. 

• Forklift experience preferred. 

 . Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a SIDA to work at this location.

. Must maintain a current valid driver’s license to operate equipment on the tarmac and ramp. 

Working Environment

 This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and other office-related devices. This remote location is exposed to extreme weather conditions, as well as exposure to hazardous chemicals, materials, and airborne pathogens, with frequent walking, bending, and lifting.
