Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a high-volume insurance operation in Chicago, Illinois. This is a Long-term Contract opportunity for someone who is comfortable working onsite, navigating multiple software tools, and handling time-sensitive administrative work with a high degree of accuracy. The position will help maintain policy information, support seasonal workload demands, and ensure records are updated correctly across insurance-related processes.
Responsibilities:
• Enter, review, and maintain policy-related information with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.
• Support the transfer of a large volume of insurance policies into updated systems while preserving data integrity.
• Update records for international and domestic policy activity based on changing information and business needs.
• Conduct light research to verify missing or inconsistent details before finalizing entries.
• Work closely with underwriters and team members to confirm policy data and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Use Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and internal applications to manage documentation and complete assigned tasks.
• Help the team manage increased year-end and early-year workloads by processing entries in a timely manner.
• Monitor records for errors and make corrections promptly to maintain reliable insurance data.• Proven experience performing high-volume data entry with strong speed and accuracy.
• Data entry assessment results of 90% or higher are preferred.
• Comfort working with computer-based systems and learning new software quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe-based tools.
• Ability to manage detailed work independently while meeting deadlines in an onsite environment.
