What does a Manager, Commercial Channel FSOP do at Swire Coca-Cola?
This person will drive the development and execution of brand and marketing programs within the FSOP channel of business, while also supporting key presence properties and asset partners throughout Swire's territory. Responsible for planning and communicating the annual, trimester, and monthly channel plans with detailed "Look of Success" execution guidelines. Coaches and mentors Marketing Asset Activation associates to ensure all major assets and contractual marketing commitments are fulfilled.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages asset relationships and directs/supports Marketing Asset Managers in all division asset related activation work
  • Supports the develops of annual asset plan and inventory utilization
  • Coordinates use of assets and inventory in region promotions
  • Understands all asset contractual details
  • Works with asset acquisition team to support deal valuation
  • Develops creative materials for all channel and mkt activation
  • Marketing asset in-venue consumer activation - Promotional materials (coupons, sweeps, coordination, etc.)
  • Optimizes asset inventory to drive business results - Packaging wraps, labels, insertions, etc.
  • Develops region specific consumer, channel and customer messaging and materials to support activation for all FSOP channels, community plans and programs - Customer specific POS concepts - Marketing Asset activation materialsDealer loaders/premiums for market/channel activation
  • Builds capability with all Division and Sales Center associates including the Commercial, Sales and Ops teams in utilizing activation tools (Sharepoint, One Drive, the Coca-Cola Advantage deck & supports FSOP Bootcamp training sessions)
  • Protects brand standards and trademark integrity
  • Leads activation for "Leadership Markets"
  • Creative materials and account acquisition support
  • Media (tags, scripts, print ads, program ads, rules)
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or GED) with some college and relevant experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred
  • 2+ years direct sales experience required
  • 4+ years experience in business marketing or communications role required
  • 6+ years general work experience required
  • 2+ years experience ' management role (managing direct reports) preferred
  • Knowledge of channel strategy
  • Knowledge of key consumption occasions, shopper messaging, and methods of activation and ability to localize for customers
  • Proven track record of achieving sustainable results
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) as well as SharePoint
  • Budget responsibility and management
  • Knowledge in consumer/shopper insights and trends
  • Experience calling on customers (Retail or FSOP), building and executing plans, and closing the sale
  • Knowledge of brand strategy and application across channels, including local marketing
  • Knowledge of key consumption occasions, shopper messaging, and methods of activation and ability to localize for customers
  • Proven track record of achieving sustainable results
