Compensation: $107K+
Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services for the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Nurse Administrator to join our healthcare leadership team at Arrendale State Prison Alto, GA.
This position is ideal for an experienced registered nurse leader who can effectively manage clinical operations, support multidisciplinary teams, maintain staff accountability, and ensure the consistent delivery of safe and compliant healthcare services within a structured correctional environment.

Position Summary
The Nurse Administrator is responsible for managing the overall operations of the contracted clinical program at Arrendale State Prison.
This position provides leadership and operational oversight for nursing and clinical services, ensuring that healthcare is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Centurion policies, Georgia Department of Corrections requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable professional standards.
The Nurse Administrator plans, coordinates, directs, and supervises the facility's clinical program. This role requires a leader who can communicate expectations clearly, address operational concerns promptly, support staff performance, and maintain stability in a secure and highly structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct and oversee the daily operations of the facility's clinical healthcare program
• Supervise, support, and provide leadership to nursing and clinical support staff
• Ensure healthcare services meet Centurion policies, contractual requirements, and Georgia Department of Corrections standards
• Maintain staff accountability, clinical performance expectations, and workflow efficiency
• Coordinate nursing coverage, staffing needs, scheduling, and operational priorities
• Collaborate with medical providers, mental health professionals, facility administration, and custody leadership
• Monitor the quality, safety, consistency, and timeliness of patient care
• Respond to clinical, staffing, and operational concerns in real time
• Support staff development, coaching, performance management, and corrective action when necessary
• Ensure clinical documentation, procedures, and practices meet institutional and regulatory requirements
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and performance-improvement initiatives
• Provide direct or indirect patient care and operational support as needed
Minimum Qualifications
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse, RN, license
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, Hospital Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health and Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of RN leadership experience, including Charge Nurse or comparable nursing leadership responsibilities
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare staff, facility administration, and institutional leadership
• Ability to lead teams, enforce performance expectations, and manage competing operational priorities
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
• Successful completion of a drug screening and criminal background check
• Current and active certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR
