Job description

We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer with our client in Orlando, FL for an onsite role. Job Details: Job Title: Azure Data Engineer. Location: Orlando, FL - Onsite.

Type: Contractual [Contract-W2/ FTE] Eligibility: H4 EAD Only. Required Qualifications Platform & Technology: Microsoft Fabric experience (primary platform) Lakehouse architecture and implementation Spark Notebooks development Schema design and management File and folder structure management Access permissions and security Alternative Platform Experience (acceptable): Databricks lakehouse engineering, OR Other lakehouse platforms with transferable skills Core Technical Skills: Spark or PySpark programming experience (essential) Data pipeline development and orchestration Working with multi-source data integration (experience with 10+ source systems preferred) Understanding of lakehouse file structures and data organization Data engineering best practices for large-scale data platforms Nice to have: Understanding of customer interaction data and dimensional modeling concepts Experience with customer data platforms or Customer 360 initiatives (nice to have) Responsibilities: Develop and maintain data pipelines in a Microsoft Fabric lakehouse environment Write and optimize Spark notebooks for data processing and transformation Manage lakehouse schemas, file structures, and data organization Integrate data from multiple source systems into the Customer 360 platform Collaborate with cross-functional teams across HR, enterprise, and operations domains Ensure data quality, security, and access controls are properly implemented Support ongoing technical operations for the Customer 360 initiative
