Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Administrator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, coordinate inventory management, and ensure seamless distribution processes. Your expertise will support efficient supply chain activities, optimize warehouse workflows, and enhance overall operational performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to process improvement.
Duties
  • Manage inventory control and stock levels using advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or AS400.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely dispatching.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) for planning and optimizing logistics routes and freight arrangements.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), freight carriers, and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners to streamline transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, warehouse policies, and contractual obligations.

Skills
  • Extensive experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as SAP or AS400, and transportation management systems.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in demand planning, production scheduling (MRP), shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management.
  • Strong organizational skills combined with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments including procurement, logistics, production planning, and supply chain teams.

Requirements
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Previous administration experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous Forklift Experience a Plus!
  • High School Diploma or GED required
