Job description

About the Role

The Acrobat Product Marketing team is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Principal Product Marketing Manager, Engagement to drive adoption and sustained usage of priority capabilities. This role translates product innovation into clear customer value by defining how key features are positioned, introduced, and reinforced across the lifecycle.

Partnering closely with Product and Design, this individual will influence how priority capabilities are introduced within the product itself, defining feature-level onboarding, in-product education, and discovery moments, while aligning reinforcement across lifecycle and GTM channels. Success in this role means delivering measurable gains in activation and sustained usage.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the engagement strategy for priority capabilities, ensuring they are clearly positioned and embedded into customer workflows.
  • Define how features are introduced, sequenced, and reinforced across onboarding and ongoing product experiences.
  • Build repeatable engagement playbooks that connect in-product moments with lifecycle amplification.
  • Partner with Product and Design to optimize in-product discovery, activation flows, and time-to-value.
  • Use behavioral insights and adoption data to identify friction and recommend targeted improvements.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders around clear activation and usage goals for your focus areas.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in feature adoption, usage depth, and repeat engagement within your domain.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 10+ years in Product Marketing, Engagement, or a related field supporting digital products.
  • A customer-first thinker who translates workflows and user insight into clear, compelling value articulation.
  • Direct experience improving activation and feature adoption through in-product messaging, onboarding, or usage interventions.
  • Strong partnership experience with Product Managers and Designers to refine UX flows and reduce friction.
  • Comfort working hands-on with product analytics to identify drop-offs and prioritize improvements.
  • Ability to independently own outcomes within a defined product area and drive cross-functional execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear presentation of strategy and insights to different collaborators
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and a sense of humor that contributes positively to team culture
