Description:

JANSON is seeking a Superintendent/Quality Control Manager for its Military Dining Facilities group. This position requires travel to onsite positions CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations. The work largely focuses on Military Dining facilities remodel, the position will require 60–90-day assignments at various locations

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will play a role in assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, and according to quality standards. Your exceptional organizational and communication skills will be instrumental in maintaining effective project documentation, providing coordination across project vendors, and supporting the overall project management process. Familiarity with PROCORE software a plus


Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Support the creation and maintenance of project schedules, monitoring progress and identifying potential delays or risks onsite.
  • Assist in resource allocation, including coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain up to date Procore records, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and action item lists.
  • Prepare and distribute project-related communications, ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed of project status and updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date on-site project drawings.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Help resolve project-related issues and escalate critical matters to the Program/Production Managers as needed.

Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address potential issues or non-compliance.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in procurement processes from the field, including obtaining quotes, structuring purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
  • Support project-related invoicing and expense tracking.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in construction supervision, any kind of construction Management i.e. engineering, business administration, or a related field a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and terminology is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
