Job description

Develop sales strategies and solicit property owners through marketing all aspects of property management services. Develop and implement programs and services to enhance penetration into existing accounts. Make sales presentations to internal and external customers and local, regional and national clients.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

  1. Solicit and develop opportunities to increase full service property management to a property owner. Develop a marketing plan that may include lead generation activities with real estate sales associates, customer inquiries, online leads, residential or commercial property owners and investors. Make presentations in person and by phone outlining the advantages of the company’s property management services.  (50-60% )
  2. Ensure successful delivery of managed property services to property owners and tenants.  Maintain positive client relations to maximize future opportunities and retention of existing clients. (20-30%)
  3. Develop and introduce new and enhanced programs to owners and tenants that will contribute to the expansion of the department and revenue growth.  (10-15%)
  4. Participate in the development and delivery of agent training to ensure knowledge of property management services.  (5-10%)
  5. Oversee account management responsibilities of property owners. Assist owners with lease preparation and rental referral agreements. (5-10%)
  6. Cross-sell additional products to existing and new accounts. (5-10%)
  7. Oversee or perform administrative activities to include database maintenance, vendor/contractor management, correspondence and marketing reporting. (5-10%)
  8. May supervise property management. (0-10%)
  9. Perform other duties as requested or assigned. (0-5%)

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associates degree in marketing, business administration or related field or equivalent knowledge and work experience.

Experience:

  • Four years marketing, sales and customer service experience including three years in real estate.
  • Experience working with clients, property owners and real estate professionals.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills including presentation skills.
  • A strong customer service focus.
  • Analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in business software.
  • Microsoft Office products.
