Job description

Hypower Inc. is currently seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join our Service Division team. Pay range from $75k to $85k depending on experience.ย 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for assisting in the management of projects from start-up to closeout under the direction of a Project Manager
  • Work with supervisors, trade contractors, and suppliers regarding assigned schedules, project progress, inventory, and material deliveries to ensure attainment of project objectives, schedule completion and timely deliveries.
  • Learning to analyze blueprints/specifications, review proposals/project requirements.
  • Review/prepare shop drawings/submittals.
  • Coordinate material procurement, ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal/state laws, provide status updates and maintain documentation records.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

  • 3 years' work experience of construction and cost management.
  • Experience or education preparing take-offs and estimates.
  • Have knowledge of various aspects of construction (labor, materials, equipment, methods, etc.) as well as an understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn customized computer software.
