Job description

Security Officer

SST is looking for an experienced Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer is responsible for protecting the client and assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, excellent observational skills, and previous surveillance experience. This person should have the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations while exhibiting patience and superb attention to detail.

  • Must be a current TX-DPS Guard Cardholder
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • 2+ Years of Security Experience
  • Preferred: Military, and/or Law Enforcement Experience
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary.

Employment Information

  • Unarmed License: $20/ Hourly Rate
  • 1099 Contractor Position
