Turner Industries Group is seeking an experienced Millwright for a position in Painesville, OH. The Millwright position installs and/or maintains machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings and written instructions in industrial establishments. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Four (4) years of experience in specified skill
  • NCCER certification, preferred
  • Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
  • Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Functional Requirements:

Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantles machines; moves machinery and equipment; assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines and blowers; aligns machines and equipment using reverse alignment method; assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures; may operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications; may repair and lubricate machines and equipment; may be involved in the grouting activity for equipment base plates; remove plant equipment, disassemble, repair and reinstall; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
