Job description

I.C.E. Contractors is currently seeking Electrician Helpers and Entry Level Laborers who are eager to learn and are passionate about the electrical trade. This position services our Pensacola, FL location and surrounding areas and will be responsible for tasks pertaining to, but not limited to, loading and unloading heavy materials, demolition, and following directions from supervisors. We seek individuals who are interested in on-the-job training and who are motivated to learn and exemplify a hard work ethic. If this is you, I.C.E. Contractors is a great company for you!

Responsibilities

  • Learn from the master electrician and/or project managers/foreman and completing all assigned duties
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
  • Prep construction sites by cleaning and maintaining job sites, clearing of hazards and obstacles
  • Load or unload construction materials
  • Help electricians when necessary
  • Follow instructions from supervisors
  • Ready to lean from on-the-job training when necessary
  • Perform site clean-up

Qualifications

  • Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred
  • 0-3 years of electrical experience
  • Valid driver's license in state of practice
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
  • Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
  • Willing to work overtime
