Keeley Construction is looking to hire a Mechanical Foreman to join our team in Austin, TX.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate field crews performing mechanical construction activities on water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
  • Supervise the installation of process piping, pumps, valves, blowers, tanks, equipment, and other mechanical systems.
  • Plan daily work activities, manpower, equipment, and material needs to maintain project schedules and productivity goals.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and engineers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Perform and oversee the installation of both underground and above-ground piping systems, including mechanical joint (MJ) and flanged piping connections.
  • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, mechanical schematics, schedules, and contract documents to support field operations.
  • Ensure all mechanical installations are completed in accordance with project requirements, company standards, and applicable codes.
  • Monitor productivity, material usage, and inventory to support efficient project performance and minimize delays.
  • Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Coordinate and support equipment startup, testing, commissioning, punch list, and project closeout activities.
  • Oversee inspections and assist with quality control documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Promote and enforce Keeley Construction's safety culture and OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings, inspections, and hazard assessments.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, production tracking, timecards, and jobsite documentation.
  • Mentor and develop craft professionals by providing training, guidance, and leadership in the field.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that reflects Keeley's values and commitment to excellence.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction, with leadership or foreman experience required.
  • Experience with water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects strongly preferred.
  • Experience installing underground and above-ground piping systems, including mechanical joint (MJ) and flanged piping systems.
  • Experience with process piping, pumps, valves, blowers, mechanical equipment installation, and utility infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical installation practices, quality requirements, and construction safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, mechanical schematics, and contract documents.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Procore experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in trenches, excavations, confined spaces, and elevated work areas as required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift construction materials and equipment as needed.
