Job description

DW Freeze Services, Inc., an Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground, seeks experienced, customer-focused, high-energy commercial drivers to provide excellent customer service and delivery service out of the Norfolk, VA terminal with all deliveries conducted in Virginia Beach.

Job Includes:
• Full-time, Part-time and Weekend positions available.
• $650-1200 per week or more for Full-time (DEPENDENT on YOUR work ethic and ability, 650 is the minimum for five day work week)
• On the job training available for highly motivated candidates (case by case basis)
Requirements:
• At least 21 years of age
• Fed Ex hiring standards
• 1 year proven working experience as a delivery driver (preferred, not required)
• No DUI's and no more than one minor ticket in the past three (3) years
• No accidents
• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements
• Must possess an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards
• Must be able to SAFELY operate delivery vehicles.
• Must be able to work a full day delivering packages ranging from envelopes up to 150lbs using a handtruck.
• Basic written and excellent verbal English communication skills
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator
• Must agree to a background check, pre-employment drug screen, random drug screens, and DOT physical
Daily Duties include but not limited to:
• Perform daily Pre & Post inspection on vehicle
• Efficiently pack vehicle for deliveries
• Work independently but assist other drivers as part of a team as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with operating officer
• Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
• Consistently follow route and time schedule
