As a Property Maintenance/Handyman Technician, you are a key team member supporting the work of field operations. Your efforts contribute to the day-to-day contract operations of Rainbow Restoration and T.L. Reese Properties. Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Driving company vehicles with or without trailers
  • Property maintenance
  • Flooring installation (Vinyl, Vinyl Plank)
  • Carpet & pad installation
  • Wood framing
  • Metal stud framing
  • Drywall installation (finishing, texturing, tape, mud, finish and sand)
  • Pre-hung door installation
  • Vinyl window installation
  • Cabinet installation
  • Finish caulking (trim, tops, etc)
  • Painting
  • Suspended ceiling systems installation
  • Door hardware installation (locksets, dead bolts, panic hardware)
  • Rubber roofing installation and maintenance
  • Plumbing fixture repair/replacement (toilet, tub, shower, faucet, drain, etc)
  • Electrical fixture repair/replacement (light, fan, outlets, switch, etc)
  • Construction projects
  • Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
  • Meet deadlines
  • Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner

Other duties may include but not be limited to:

  • Ability to read and understand maps & directions
  • Work with a team
  • Possess or have the ability and willingness to learn and participate in performing:
  • Residential/commercial vacant property clean outs
  • Commercial grass cutting & snow removal
  • Maintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) keeping them clean, properly maintained and fully stocked to be available at all times
  • Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
  • Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties

Job Requirements:

  • We are a 24-hour emergency service company, and all team members are required to be on-call and respond when needed
  • Valid Driver's License
