Hanwha Defense USA is seeking a mid- to senior-level Project Manager to support the execution and delivery of tracked vehicle programs within Army artillery modernization efforts. This role is internal execution-focused, working cross-functionally to drive program performance, align engineering and operations activities, and ensure delivery milestones are met. The ideal candidate brings strong technical familiarity with tracked vehicle systems and proven project leadership within the defense sector.
Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, test, contracts, and finance to maintain alignment and resolve issues impacting program delivery.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and deliverables; monitor progress and identify/mitigate risks.
  • Support development of system requirements, integration activities, and technical readiness milestones for tracked vehicle subsystems such as powerpack, drivetrain, chassis, armament, and electronics.
  • Oversee internal workflows and resource allocation to maintain program progress across engineering and build/test activities.
  • Prepare status reports, briefings, and internal program reviews to ensure leadership visibility and decision-making support.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to manage deliverables, risks, and production timelines.
  • Support planning and execution of system-level tests, demonstrations, and evaluations at test sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution practices, documentation, and internal communication channels.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience managing defense-related engineering or production programs, ideally related to vehicles, ground systems, or artillery platforms.
  • Strong understanding of tracked vehicle subsystems and integration activities.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive execution in a technical environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with Army artillery systems, armored vehicles, or tracked platforms.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and milestone requirements.
  • Prior experience supporting test activities, prototype development, or system integration.
