Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the F-35 Program
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This role is responsible for tooling and factory transition execution for the F-35 FACO, Fabrication, and Finishes (CFF/LFF) build areas. This role may support both domestic and international tooling projects.
Ensure tools and equipment are identified, scoped and built to meet engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements.
Responsible for developing robust Statements of Work (SOWs) when contracting suppliers to execute work supporting our programs.
Required to work with Procurement and tooling suppliers to have the tools & equipment delivered in time to support contract milestones.
Required to work with Build Team Mfg Engs and production personnel to ensure requirements understood and resolution fully meets program needs.
Engage with Tool Design, Planning, Procurement, Facilities, ESH, and Tooling/Fabrication suppliers to successfully manage the F-35 tooling & equipment portfolio.
Support special projects for unique requests including rate transition, tooling stand-up efforts, continuous improvement, and new initiatives
