Job description

Job Title: System Engineer
Job Location: Irving, TX
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • Maintain and set up secure access for endpoints, branches, and all corporate offices.
  • Manage and maintain all network cabling infrastructure including routers, switches, and other peripheral devices, to address client networking requirements remotely.
  • Manage on-prem data centers (primary/DR) with P2P connectivity and Azure implementation for new services.
  • Inspect LAN/WAN infrastructures and troubleshoot any issues affecting them.
  • Diagnose network performance and recommend improvement actions.
  • Proactively monitor networks daily to optimize performance.
  • Verify services are completed, functional, and delivered on time.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting, backup, archiving, and recovery.
  • Create and maintain strong documentation.
  • Understand and follow change control processes.
  • Communicate network design, security, and performance issues to non-technical leadership.
