Job description

As an Associate Business Systems Analyst - HR (Fixed Term), you will support and optimize HR technology solutions by driving system improvements, managing configurations, and developing reports and dashboards while ensuring the effective operation of Workday modules. Your goal will be to enhance system efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience across HR processes. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver reliable system performance, provide accurate and timely reporting, support compliance and audit requirements, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and contribute to team development.


This is a Fixed Term contract anticipated to last 18 months.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day support of the HR System
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, escalating complex problems as required
  • Responsible for moderate to complex HR process improvements, system configuration, and testing within all modules of the HR System
  • Regularly supporting ongoing audit and compliance reporting needs
  • Assists with prioritization and project management
  • Coordinates and communicates system changes or events such as annual system maintenance, weekly service updates, etc
  • Supports and follows HR System Governance processes
  • Supports testing activities across the Workday team, including bi-annual upgrade testing

Your Skills:

  • Proven troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to own multiple tasks, projects, and initiatives at a given time
  • Ability to execute priorities based on input from senior System Analysts and management
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to maintain professionalism in all forms of communication
  • Manage and execute testing activities across the Workday team, including bi-annual upgrade testing

Your Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Human Resources Systems, or a related field
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications is considered an asset
  • Exposure to HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems is preferred

The expected annual salary range for this position is $55,223 - $73,170. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications and skills.
