Job description

We are searching for experienced Industrial Sewer's and Seamstresses to operate Industrial single and double needle Sewing machines to become a part of our team.

Anyone interested in Overtime this could be the dream job for you!

Job Description:

  • Sewing Automotive transportation bags
  • Sewing Construction Bags
  • Sizes of the bags will vary based on client/customer orders
  • Bags weigh from 3 lbs. to 30 lbs.
  • Construction bags may have Velcro and webbing attachments as well as shelf attachments that will require sewing (previous knowledge of this skill and process is a plus)
  • Assembly skills of these transportation bags will be delegated to intermediate or advanced sewers.

Requirements;

  • Previous experience operating a single needle Industrial sewing machine
  • Previous experience operating a double needle Industrial sewing machine is preferred**
  • Able to lift between 3 lbs. and 30 lbs. (this is the varied weights of the transportation bags that you will be working with)
  • Able to work with Velcro and webbing attachments by sewing
  • Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Overtime may be necessary in order to fulfill client/customer orders (hours will not exceed 60 hours per week)
  • Excellent attendance record a MUST!
  • On site training available for any candidate interested in becoming proficient in this Industrial Sewing field.
  • Shift hour: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (before any overtime requirements)
  • Wages: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour (WAGES will commensurate with experience and skill sets)
  • This is a contract to Hire position
  • Able to pass a drug test
  • Able to pass a background test
