Job Overview
Servers are the ambassadors of the guest experience, delivering exceptional service with genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism. In our upscale dining environment, the Server is expected to be knowledgeable about the menu, wine pairings, and specials, while anticipating guest needs and ensuring a refined, memorable meal from start to finish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide warm, welcoming, and attentive service that reflects the elevated standards of our restaurant.
  • Guide guests through the menu, offering detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and chef recommendations.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system efficiently.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely, precise, and elegant service.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Read and interpret guest cues, including body language, tone, and pacing. To understand the type of dining experience they're seeking and adjust service style to create the proper atmosphere.
  • Tailor the experience to each guest, creating memorable moments that feel personal,
  • encouraging return visits, and helping cultivate a loyal regular clientele.
  • Proactively identify allergy or dietary needs, clearly understand which menu items can be modified, and provide confident, informed recommendations to ensure safety while still delivering an exceptional dining experience.
  • Maintain a polished, composed presence in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Follow all steps of service, including table settings, course pacing, and check presentation.
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when needed.
  • Handle guest payments accurately, including processing credit cards, managing split checks, and handling cash with integrity and accountability.
  • Balance and reconcile cash and receipts at the end of each shift as required.
  • Ensure cleanliness and order in assigned sections, side stations, and service areas.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines..
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and complete company-assigned training.
  • Maintain uniform standards and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
  • Adhere to a reliable work schedule and perform duties safely.
  • Perform other tasks, including cross-training in different areas, as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in serving, preferably in upscale or fine dining.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairing
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
  • Flexible schedule helpful.
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate required.
  • Valid State Alcohol Server Certificate required.
