Location: 100% remote
Duration: 6 -12 months
Job Title: Senior SQL Developer/Power BI Developer with Sigma Computing BI Tool Expertise
Position Overview: As a Senior SQL Developer/Power BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and analytics solutions. You will be responsible for leveraging your extensive SQL expertise, Power BI proficiency, and Sigma Computing BI Tool background (nice to have) to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of senior-level experience in SQL development, Power BI dashboard creation, and Sigma Computing BI Tool utilization, with a strong understanding of SalesForce data structures and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • SQL Development: Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
  • Data Modeling: Develop and maintain robust data models to support reporting and analytics requirements, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Power BI Development: Design and create visually compelling and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Sigma Computing BI Tool Expertise: Utilize Sigma Computing BI Tool to enable self-service analytics and empower business users to explore and visualize data independently.
  • Data Integration: Integrate SalesForce data into existing data infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimization techniques to enhance the speed and efficiency of data retrieval and reporting processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Documentation and Training: Document data models, processes, and best practices, and provide training and support to empower team members in utilizing data tools effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in SQL development, with a strong emphasis on data modeling and optimization.
  • Extensive experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports, with a deep understanding of DAX expressions and data visualization best practices.
  • Proficiency in Sigma Computing BI Tool, with hands-on experience in building analytics workflows and dashboards.
  • Experience working with SalesForce data structures and APIs, with a solid understanding of SalesForce data integration techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical data solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of working in a remote environment, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
