Job description

Do you have the PRN career opportunities as a Medical Laboratory Tech PRN you want with your current employer? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Fairview Park Hospital which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

Job Summary and Qualifications

· Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology.

· Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results.

· Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping.

· Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.

    What qualifications you will need:
    • Associate Degree
    • (MLT-State) Medical Lab Technician - State, or (CLT/CLS) Clinical Laboratory Technologist/Scientist, or (MLS) Medical Laboratory Scientist must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
