Highlights:

Summary: The Medical Lab Technologist shall provide timely and courteous service to patients, physicians, and hospital staff by performing laboratory analyses accurately and efficiently. This individual will detect unusual conditions and assume responsibility for problem solving. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education / Experience:

Associate's degree with Medical Laboratory Technology and clinical laboratory training culminating in national certification, as defined by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Board of Registry required. Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Medical or Clinical Laboratory Sciences from an institution meeting CLIA personnel testing qualifications for moderate & high complexity testing.


License / Certification:

Associate degree requires active ASCP Medical Laboratory Technologist certification


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.

  • Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.

  • Must be able to meet strict deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.
