Nice to meet you, we’re Commercial Furniture Transport.
We started as a delivery company in 1986 and have continued to grow adding services under family ownership. Today, CFT, provides contract and high-end residential delivery, installation, moving, storage and logistics services. We sell our services to contract furniture dealers, manufactures and end users.

We are looking for truck drivers to serve our healthcare logistics, commercial office furniture and supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Check equipment to ensure acceptable condition for delivery prior to loading truck.
  • Accurately and safely load truck, scanning and checking items against delivery ticket.
  • Deliver equipment in a safe manner and within agreed upon timeframe.
  • Pickup equipment as needed per pick up tickets.
  • Report all pick-up and delivery issues to dispatch and record information on paperwork.
  • Document start and end times at each stop for productivity purposes.
  • Confirm all electronics and lighting work prior to leaving the stop.
  • Wipe down once delivered to ensure its integrity.
  • Provide world class customer service.
  • Unload returned equipment as needed.
  • Utilize helper to spot when driving the box truck in reverse.
  • Fold blankets and store equipment and supplies in an effort to keep the truck organized.
  • Perform checklist of truck to ensure all equipment and supplies are available.
  • Support warehouse functions as needed.
  • Requirements:
  • Valid driving license
  • Assists/helps with the pick-up (loading), transportation, and delivery (unloading and placement) of healthcare, commercial/logistic office goods/equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  • Routinely involves lifting, movement and placement of heavy items by hand or with the assistance of material handling equipment (hand-truck or dolly- Must be capable of lifting 50+ lbs)
  • Represents the Company in a professional manner
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Must wear company-approved uniform and maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company and delivering service to customers
