Apartment Maintenance / Make Ready Technician

We are looking for someone who can diagnose and perform repairs quickly and efficiently, and clearly communicate with customers and service consultants.
Job Responsibilities
    • Perform all aspects of apartment "make-ready" for new tenants, including:
      • Wall repair, painting, caulking, and cleaning
      • Appliance inspection and repair
      • Light plumbing (faucets, toilets, water heaters, etc.)
      • Electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets)
      • Flooring touch-ups or replacements
    • Respond promptly to maintenance service requests from residents.
    • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and tools.
    • Conduct regular inspections of property grounds and common areas.
    • Communicate effectively with management about needed materials, supplies, and project timelines.
    • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Compensation
Compensation is based on experience. Range from $18-28 an hour

We're looking for a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance / Make-Ready Technician to join our team and help prepare apartments for new tenants.
Education and/or Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in apartment maintenance, property management, or related trade work.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when necessary.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Operator Driver's License clean driving record.
  • HVAC certification or EPA license (a plus, not required)
  • Previous experience working in multi-unit residential properties
  • Basic computer or tablet skills for work order tracking
