Pride Health is hiring an Oncology Clinic RN for one of our clients located in McKinney, TX! (Contract to Hire)


Schedule: Mon-Fri Day (8:30-5pm)

Contract: 3 months to hire

Pay Rate: 38-45/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, coordinate, assess, and support continuity of care in accordance with established standards and best practices.
- Evaluates health status by discussing the patientโ€™s current condition and reviewing medical history.
- Identifies patient and family needs and delivers education and instructional resources as appropriate.
- Offers psychosocial assistance to patients and their families.
- Supports clinical workflows and facilitates patient care activities.
- Handles patient medication refill requests received through the pharmacy phone      line and documents details in the patient record.
- Coordinates and arranges consultations, pre-procedure testing, diagnostic examinations, referrals, and follow-up appointments for patients.
- Reviews and prioritizes patient phone calls as needed and records relevant information in the patient's medical chart.
- When required, serves as a liaison between the patient/family and interdisciplinary care team while coordinating patient-related services.

Requirements and Qualifications

Active RN License
Oncology experience preferred
ICU or ER background
3+ yrs nursing experience
BLS Certification
