Job description

PRN - Sub-contract RN-Waiver Services
PRN- Sub-contract RN need for STARC of Louisiana’s Waiver Services Program. RN will provide on going nursing services and consultation on as needed basis. Services to be provided in STARC home or private family home.
Services to be provided:
  • Completion of annual health assessments on identified participants
  • Completion of initial and annual demonstration of competency of direct support professionals
  • Provide person specific training to direct support professionals regarding medication and medication administration
  • Provide consultation to staff regarding medication side effects, route, dosage, changes in medications, etc.
  • Submit required documentation regarding health assessments, exams, training, etc.
  • Availability for on call consultation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Accredited University
Current RN License State of Louisiana
Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Must provide proof of liability insurance
Must have current Driver's License
