Position: Mechanical Design Engineer (Oil & Gas domain)

Location: Carrollton, TX (Onsite)

Skills: SolidWorks/CAD, Mechanical Design Experience, Component tool design and Fixture design

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • 7+ years of working experience directly in oil and gas domain
  • Experience of Concept Design and Detail design of oil and gas tools like permanent packers, Open hole packers, Retrievable packers, Hydrostatic actuation systems, Production Anchors, Polished bore assemblies, Polished bore receptacles.
  • Experience in DFM, DFA, FMEA of the products
  • Experience in (VAVE) Value analysis and Value engineering of the designed product
  • Experience in organising the meeting to conduct detailed Design reviews with all stakeholders.
  • Experience in Material selection for HPHT products
  • Experience in Detail Design of completion tools and Test fixtures
  • Experience in Detailed calculations applicable to designed tools
  • Experience in creating tool layouts and test layouts for the designed tools as per API.
  • Experience in compliancing the products per API 11D1, API 19OH standards.
  • Experience in root cause/corrective and preventative action
  • Experience in Assembly and Test procedure writing
