Pricing Analyst II Estimated annual base pay: $72,000(minimum) - $93,000(midpoint) - $115,000(maximum)

Pricing Analyst II

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth pricing analysis and identify opportunities for optimization, with recommendations to improve price realization and financial results.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to pricing, and recommend adjustments as needed to ensure continued success.
  • Execute day-to-day standard pricing processes and implement pricing strategies and tactics that maximize revenue and profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, finance, operations, supply chain, and engineering, to develop pricing plans and promotions that support business objectives.
  • Develop, refine, build, and maintain pricing models, templates, and dashboards based on business objectives and market conditions.
  • Analyze cost changes, margin impact, price variance, customer profitability, and product margin performance to support pricing decisions.
  • Support quote pricing, bid pricing, customer-specific pricing requests, product launch pricing, annual price increases, and other price adjustment cycles.
  • Partner with sales teams on deal pricing, margin targets, and approval workflows, and review customer contracts and pricing terms to ensure alignment with company policy and profitability goals.
  • Identify pricing exceptions, pricing errors, and leakage, and support pricing approvals and governance processes.
  • Prepare pricing reports and presentations for leadership, help improve pricing process efficiency and data accuracy, and document pricing policies, procedures, and controls.

Key Skills:

  • Manufacturing pricing experience
  • Financial analysis skills: Ability to perform detailed financial analysis and modeling, including using financial software and tools.
  • Quantitative analysis: Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets to develop insights and recommendations.
  • Market research and analysis: Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends and data, and identify new pricing opportunities.
  • Pricing strategy implementation : Ability to implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Data analysis and visualization: Ability to use data analysis tools and techniques to visualize and communicate pricing insights and recommendations.
  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate complex pricing information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, met deadlines and work independently.
  • Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors and discrepancies in financial and pricing data.
  • Business acumen: Knowledge of the company's business and industry, including the ability to understand market trends and competitive dynamics.

Successful Candidates Typically Have:

  • Experience in manufacturing pricing, pricing analysis, or revenue management
  • Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Exposure to SAP or S/4HANA, especially for pricing, finance, or order data
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and turn findings into clear recommendations
  • Strong financial and quantitative analysis skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as sales, finance, marketing, or product management
  • Good communication skills for explaining pricing insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in pricing or financial data
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently

This position is onsite Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and remote Tuesday and Friday.
