Job description

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $87,000.00/Yr. - USD $144,900.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

The Electrical/Electronics Engineer will ensure the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration. The Electrical/Electronics Engineer will work with program stakeholders, development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing on-site engineering, support, and research of SIGINT/IO/EW/CSO systems
  • Identifying, de-conflicting, and orchestrating integration of innovative technology being developed throughout the community
  • Planning, testing, and providing technical expertise to the identification of innovative technology within the community
  • Evaluating vendor capabilities to provide required products and services
  • Analyzing, interpreting, and generating engineering schematics and change notices
  • Performing system and performance modeling
  • Conducting root cause analysis
  • Designing hardware with respect to component/assembly analysis, specification, integration, and testing
  • Providing RF system/subsystem analysis and specification review
  • Providing engineering support to the process of integrating novel solutions to existing Programs of Record (POR)
  • Providing transition support of newly identified and innovative technology to existing PORs

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
  • Six years of full-time professional experience working as an electrical/electronic engineer
  • Four years in professional experience in each of the following skill-sets/disciplines:
    • Performing systems engineering activities on Cryptologic Carry-On Equipment (COE) or Electronic Warfare (EW) Programs, involving fully integrated tactical systems for military intelligence programs ashore and afloat
    • Demonstrated engineering experience on U.S. Navy and warfare systems and their systems integration process as it relates to distribution systems impacts, mission, performance, and interoperability impacts
  • Three years of experience professional experience in each of the following skill-sets/disciplines:
    • COE/EW concepts and operations deployment
    • Radio Frequency (RF) design and analysis (e.g. propagation prediction measurement, receiver modeling, analysis, and design, detection and signal characterization processing, non-cooperative demodulation processing for signals of interest, and antenna array modeling)
    • Operating systems experience in Windows and Linux
  • Requires a TS/SCI clearance
