This position is primarily remote and utilizes telehealth services, enabling our counselors to provide care in a flexible setting that promotes work-life balance. Full-time opportunities require a commitment of 30-40 hours per week, with adjustable scheduling to meet the needs of both our clients and our staff. • Conduct thorough assessments and create tailored treatment plans that accurately reflect clients' needs and goals, ensuring timely completion of required documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to inform clinical decision-making and provide data-driven support for individual client care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop positive behavior support plans, engaging in continuous improvement processes to enhance the overall quality of services.
• Take an active role in licensing and accreditation processes, representing the organization in relevant meetings and ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
• Serve as a vital liaison with state agencies and community partners, establishing professional relationships to facilitate access to additional support services and enhance program visibility.
• Maintain open and effective lines of communication with team members to meet contract standards and foster alignment with the organization's mission.
• Engage in professional development through conferences and training, and participate in community outreach efforts to bolster program development and increase partnerships.
• Contribute to the promotion of agency values and principles, ensuring they are integrated into all aspects of client interactions and care delivery.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, adapting to the evolving needs of the organization and clients.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work primarily with individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional health challenges, including mental health disorders, substance use issues, and developmental disabilities. The population served is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and life circumstances. Counselors will be expected to customize their approaches to resonate with each client's unique experiences and cultural contexts, thereby fostering a truly client-centered care environment.

• A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC from the state of California.
• Strong organizational skills to manage clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Team-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary setting.
• Excellent communication skills, strategically articulating ideas and counseling approaches to various stakeholders.
