Full Stack Developer / Process Improvement Engineer
Sphinx Full Stack Developer / Process Improvement Engineer provide a web presence on all networks and provides expertise to improve customer business processes.
Clearance: Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a CI polygraph after hire (if not before)
Location: Springfield, VA
Salary Range: $185,000 - $250,000
Experience: Must have at least 11+ years of experience conducting software engineering and development activities, process modernization, and reengineering methodologies.
Description: The Full Stack Developer will apply process improvement, reengineering methodologies, and best practice principles to design and implement process modernization and improvements. Assists with analysis, evaluation, and assessment leading to development of recommendations for system and process improvements, optimization, development, and/or operations sustainment efforts for IT systems, software, and processes. Coordinates and manages analysis evaluations and quality assessments for proper implementation of programs, systems specifications, and quality standards. Establishes performance measures, monitors and analyzes performance metrics to identify and implement performance based improvements. Works closely with senior engineers/specialists or task leads.

Responsibilities
- Designs and implements business process modernization and improvements.

- Coordinates and leads development activities related to needs.

- Develops and maintains customer specific tools and capabilities.

- Conducts business process reviews, software testing, customer workforce training, and website content management.

- Works with officers to improve design of user interface features.

- Maintains awareness of other Agency tools and how they might be incorporated into customer’s business processes.
Required Qualifications
- Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a CI polygraph after hire (if not already held)
- Must be a self-motivated, disciplined, and mature professional capable of operating with little tasking and oversight
- Must be capable of operating within a diverse environment and comfortable operating with limited guidance and oversight, maturity and self-motivation required.
- Must be experience applying knowledge management, business intelligence, process improvement, reengineering methodologies or best practice principles to design and implement process modernization and improvements.

- Must be experience in coordinating and leading activities of engineers/specialists related to technology needs.

- Must be experience with cloud based technology such as AWS, C2S, Cloud Foundry

- Must be experience in using web-based technologies such as browsers, HTML code, object-oriented technology, graphics software, and content management systems. - Experience Python/ Django, SQL, JAVA, familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift. Web Framework, Database Management Systems (DBMS) (MYSQL or similar DBMS), JavaScript, REST, SOAP webservices

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in a related discipline
- Relevant commercial or federal data science/engineering certifications
- Experience in understanding of technology requirements specific to international affairs and IC coordination.

- Experience with Imagery Disclosure Tool (IDT), Request Action Tracker (RAT), or SharePoint custom workflows.
